About me

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Miami, FL 2019

Hi, I’m Olivia-a writer at heart, a traveler by choice, and someone who’s always been a little too sentimental about memories.

I’ve loved reading and writing since I was a kid. In undergrad, I was that person who actually enjoyed writing essays. But what really shaped me was travel (and more importantly, the lack of it early on.) I grew up with limited resources, and most of my first adventures came from tagging along on trips with friends and their families. Those experiences opened up my world to new cultures, foods, histories, and perspectives.

Now that I’m an adult, travel is something I choose to prioritize. I budget for it, plan around it, and daydream about it constantly. I do have a full-time job (because bills), and I’m not trying to be a full-time influencer. But this archive? This is my space to document the moments that move me.

Her Travel Archive is just that, an archive. A place where I collect and reflect. It’s honest, unfiltered, and hopefully meaningful to someone else out there who knows what it’s like to crave more than their hometown could give them. Some posts will be about where I’ve been, others about what it made me feel.

I’m not here to sell a lifestyle. I’m here to remember mine, and maybe, help you feel seen in yours.

Also — I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. The kind who still cries at the epilogue. So if you notice a few HP references sprinkled in here and there, now you know why.
